Just a note to everyone letting you know what we are considering. While the main page has enjoyed great success and tons of visits and hits (over 200,000 hits, an average of over 1500 visitors a month, and thousands of unique visitors), the message board is slow and relatively inactive. We are considering linking to the active Troy message board from the main page and keeping the main site going. We will continue the news portion of the site and the newsletter (even though we are a month behind!)
Just wanted your thoughts/feedback. Thanks.

You've done a good job. People are just used to the other board plus the moderators have been more active and the tone is much better than 6 months ago.

I noticed that the gtt.com is trying to copy this site in a few ways...namely advertising (this was not done until we put our ad in the GameDay program). That's ok thought, they have the market on the message board and we have the market on the news section.

Jeff did gameday advertising last year at the games. I think he is just trying to promote Troy. Don't take it so personally. GTT is in NO way trying to copy this site. It will be nice to co-exist in the new format.

It will be nice to co-exist in the new format. I am not taking it personal nor do I blame Jeff for wanting to get the word out about GTT.com. I am excited to see if a "new" merged site would generate even more traffic.

Not a jab at you, but you did say Jeff way trying to copy this site. That's what I was clearing up. It's good to have you guys back on the GTT site. Now, why has Mark been so quiet this year?
